Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.
— Colossians 2:6-7

WELCOME

Pastoral Christian Counseling is distinct because it begins with God’s Word as the foundation. Rather than starting with psychology, we start with sound biblical doctrine: believing that true counsel flows first from the Wonderful Counselor. Scripture provides the truth and clarity we need to rightly understand our experiences, emotions, and healing journey.

As a wife and homeschooling mother of three with a Master’s in Education and over a decade in pastoral ministry, I blend structure, Spirit-led insight, and biblical truth to cultivate a home, and a life, rooted in prayer, discipleship, and holistic living.

I lead a weekly cultivation prayer line where I provide a safe place to learn, dig into scripture, teach apologetics and guide believers into deeper understanding of the Christian faith.

I offer faith-based counseling and coaching sessions for individuals, couples, and families seeking Christ-centered healing and direction. Whether you are navigating anxiety, marriage challenges, parenting struggles, health challenges or spiritual confusion, I provide a safe, compassionate space anchored in Scripture and the wisdom of the Holy Spirit.

Guidance rooted in your season *

Our counseling plans are anchored in the biblical rhythm of growth: planting, watering, and reaping a harvest. Each plan is prayerfully designed to meet you where you are.

Whether you are in need of breaking up fallow ground, laying a new foundation, seeking healing and direction, deepening your roots, or preparing to bear lasting fruit, you'll find a pace and path aligned with your season. Wherever you begin, each step moves you forward with purpose, intention, and grace.

Let’s Discover Your Needs

Book a trial session an opportunity to connect, ask questions, and experience the heart behind my approach. If you’re seeking something more personalized than the current plans, I’d be glad to hear your needs and prayerfully consider how I can serve you.

Lives Transformed by God’s Truth

Beautiful stories of healing and renewal through biblical counseling

There are few people whose words pierce through confusion, pain, and fear the way Mrs. Brown’s do. Her unfiltered guidance, anchored fully in the Word of God, didn’t just counsel me, it transformed me from the inside out. In moments when I was at my lowest, uncertain, and overwhelmed, she reminded me of who I am in Christ, not through her opinion, but through God’s truth. “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 8:32), and that’s exactly what her counsel did for me.

What makes her so different is her unwavering love, even in the face of my own inconsistency. She doesn’t shame or convict, she lovingly corrects and always leads me back to grace. Just like Romans 8:1 says, “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” She makes sure we know that while conviction is from the Spirit, condemnation is not from God. Her ministry is soaked in grace and truth.

In these dark and uncertain times, she has been a beacon of light, hope, and life. Her boldness, obedience, and deep spiritual insight have changed the way I approach every area of my life. She reminds me that I am in a war, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities...” (Ephesians 6:12) but I do not have to fight it alone.

I’ve brought my family to her, because I trust the God in her. I want them to heal, grow, and come to know the true and living God in the way I now do. I am so excited to watch them flourish, to see them walk more closely with Jesus, and to break cycles that once felt impossible to overcome. I truly believe that “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” (Joshua 24:15), and her presence in our lives is part of that promise unfolding.

Having Mrs. Brown and her family to lean on is not just a blessing, it is life-sustaining. Their home, their hearts, and their walk with God carry the anointing of restoration. They don’t just talk about Jesus, they live Him out.

To anyone wondering if her support will make a difference: yes, it will. But be ready. Be ready to heal, to grow, and to be challenged in love. Be ready to be reminded of your identity, to be drawn back to the feet of Jesus, and to discover a peace and power you may have forgotten you had.
Because of Mrs. Brown, I am not only walking in healing, I’m watching it unfold in my family. And for that, I thank God daily.

With Love,

Mary E. Nesby
